The key requirements of the position are as follows:
1) Manage and coordinate all of the logistics activities connected with effective arrangement of production and logistic processes, including material receipt, storage and dispatch of components and finished products.
2) Management of packaging, palletization, and containerization for components and finished products
3) Cooperation in the creation of a system of monitoring expenses and evaluation of logistic processes
4) Monitoring of development trends in the field of logistics, and their application within the company
5) Initiate and implement improvement activities of his/her subordinates, and their development
6) Ensure logistics function supports the smooth and balanced planning of production
7) To act as the main contact with the end customers to ensure timely and correct dispatching of finished products to our clients in the requested volume and time
8) Accountable for planning transportation with regard to time of delivery and costs for transport
9) Ensure handover of non-conforming products from our processes to our suppliers, and their physical registration and financial reporting
10)Management of key indicators for and on behalf the department of logistics, their regular reporting, and creation, acceptance, and evaluation of effectiveness of remedial measures from audits, results of reporting and non-standard situations
11)Communicate effectively with management, production and other staff both in China and Europe regarding production schedules, material deliveries (imports to China, and within mainland China itself)
12)Assures compliance with principles of occupational health and safety and fire protection
13)Provides for stock management and disposal of redundant stock
14)Knowledge of INCOTERMS
15)A solid background in logistics processes, ideally within a manufacturing environment and experience of import and export requirements, customs process in China is desirable
16)Require travel to Europe for training.
Qualification required:
1) Level of education required: University degree or diploma
2) Field of proficiency: Engineering, Economics, Business
3) Professional experience required: 5 years
4) Good English language ability, both written and spoken
