PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES:
Help the plant manger to manage the day to day safety issues of the plant Including organising safety meetings, performing safety audits, issuing. work permits, carrying our all the process safety tasks of the plant, etc.
Working closely with technicians and operators, directing, helping, and with coaching them to perform their tasks. Most importantly, working them as a team
Having overall responsibility for the Preventive Maintenance Program of the plant
Managing all the plant safety supplies.
Learning all phases of plant operations.
Responsible for the record keeping of employees safety and process training.
Together with the plant manger taking plant calls during nights, weekends, and holidays
Overseeing plant night operations during plant start up.
Relieving the plant manager for vacation and business travel etc.
Doing all the production and safety reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:
. Four year college degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or other related field.
. At least 4 years experience in a related field with a manufacturing company.
. Good written English and some spoken English.
. Be enthusiastic and aggressive to learn.
. Energetic, honest, and hard working.
